DRAFT MINUTES OF THE KING GEORGE’S FIELD TRUST MEETING HELD ON 8th SEPTEMBER 2026

1. Apologies for absence

None required.

2. Accuracy of the minutes of the previous meeting

RESOLVED: that the draft minutes of the KGF meeting held on 10.03.26 were deemed to be an accurate record of the proceedings. The Chair proposed and Councillor Whines seconded, the voting was unanimous.

3. Legionella testing

• It was considered that there was low risk of Legionella with the water system at the KGF.
• There is no hot water available.
• The cold-water system is mains fed.
• The cold-water system will be thoroughly drained and tested when the new season starts in Spring 2027.
• A risk assessment will be made.

4. Jubilee Cricket Match 2026

It was a great success as previously. A wonderful day, good fun and lots of supporters.

5. Any other matters

• Vinehall School will be using the KGF again for cricket practice. The fee will be £90 per session.
• The new cesspit is installed and working well.
• The Mountfield Cricket Club thanked MPC for their generosity and support. MPC also thanked the Cricket Club for their work in keeping the ground in pristine condition.
