It has been difficult to find persons able to do this. The search continues and Chair has estimated costs.

9. Grit bin replacement and refill

To discuss the Chair’s survey on the state of the Mountfield bins and their location.

10. Southern Water Solar Array

To receive any further information.

11. Duck House

To discuss the condition of the Duck House and its possible removal.

12. Legionella Assessment

To consider whether it is necessary for the KGF pavilion to be assessed for Legionella risks.

Demolition of an existing forestry building which has a footprint of 38sq.m and erection of a replacement L shaped forestry building of steel portal frame construction and with a total footprint of 70sq.m, for the storage of forestry materials and harvested timber.

Annual Governance and Accountability Return for the year ended 31st March 2026

Section 16 of the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 (Sl 2015/234)

1. The audit of accounts for Mountfield Parish Council for the year ended 31st March 2026 has been completed and the accounts have been published.

2. The Annual Governance and Accountability Return is available for inspection by any local government elector in the area of Mountfield Parish Council on application to:

Permanent closure of Mountfield Lane access road

We have been informed by British Gypsum that the access road to Mountfield Lane will be permanently closed from Tuesday 1st September 2026 due to ongoing incidents by irresponsible bikers etc.
The railway line barriers will be locked in the down position on both sides and road closure signs will be installed further along the road.
Additional signage will also be placed at – the junction with Eatenden Lane and the Village Hall.
Access to Little Millham will not be obstructed.
